I have decided to remain permanently in Key West. I will send for my personal effects under separate cover. Please kiss the dog and cat for me and send them along at your earliest convenience.

Also, please inform work that I will not be returning. As way of explanation for my behavior I have enclosed several pictures of my lodging.

It is my sincerest hope that you will join me, my love...but if not, well, it was a great run, kiddo.
